The Geometric series
The rigorously executed 'pixels' in the geometric series simultaneously hide and reveal the image. This slight abstraction makes the viewer look more carefully. As a result an image can be more evocative, and hence more charged, than a literal representation.
These should not be confused with simple photoshop enlargements. They are created using a special process developed by the artist which involves precision, individually coloured, shapes.
Many of these are large pieces, typically a metre or more - so the scale is particularly significant. One of the geometric shapes may be one or two centimetres across. The precise rendering of these shapes, combined with the scale, creates an impact which can only be hinted at here.
